Over 25 years of experience in Accounting, Payroll, Tax and Audit Compliance within several industries; Government Contracting, Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure Services, and Healthcare Services. Experience in preparation and posting of journal entries to the General Ledger. Prepared accounting related reports monthly and quarterly to reconcile and ensure accuracy. Prepared Profit & Loss reports for small and large companies. Verify balances in various GL accounts and processed payroll taxes. Prepared tax compliance and liability reports to make tax payments for State Withholdings, State Unemployment, Federal, FICA and FUTA, and to be sent to the Treasury Department for tax deposits by entities. Ran interfaces between systems to prepare 22 company's tax liabilities for Finance Department and to process complex payroll journal entries to be posted in the Accounting system. Fluent in Spanish.
